A few weeks ago, while riding up a chairlift with my two grandchildren, ages 8 and 12, I looked over at them and marveled. Here I was at 60-something, skiing with my grandkids.
I thought about when I was 12, of my beloved grandmother and how there was no way she would or could ever have gone skiing with us kids. She was old. She was 53!
My how times, grandmothers and women’s health have changed in the past 50 years. We are more active, healthier and are embracing our best lives more than any other generation before us.
