A couple of years ago, I took my daughter to the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City. I wanted her to understand the significance of the anniversary and how events before and after the event have shaped our political history.
I didn’t expect the stories, photos and artifacts to have such an emotional impact, but they did. It was so powerful to see the faces and hear the personal stories of people who were there that day.
This year, the museum is offering a free digital learning experience with stories from first responders, family members and a schoolteacher.
