If your AC is blowing warm air and there’s a loud noise, you may have a broken air conditioning compressor. Leaking refrigerant can also prevent the vehicle’s air conditioner from functioning properly. In this case, you may hear a clicking sound because the condenser is short cycling.
The condenser works with the compressor to depressurize and liquefy air to convert it to cold air. Over time, it can break or malfunction, resulting in no cool air.
