Wildlife films to premiere at Rookery Bay’s Festival of Birds

by The 100 Companies

Rookery Bay Research Reserve’s 20th Annual Festival of Birds will run from Jan. 12-21 and will feature nearly two dozen eco-tour trips for birding walks, bike rides, swamp walks and boat cruises at sunrise and sunset to watch hundreds of birds fly in and out of roosting islands.

New this year is a partnership with The Wildlife Conservation Film Festival, which will close out the week from Jan. 17-21. More than 40 films from award-winning documentary filmmakers around the world will share the stories of animals such as cockatoos, elephants, gorillas, jaguars, koalas, killer whales, manatees, monkeys, ocelots and more.
