Public-private partnerships help people find a healthy path

by
Maggie Baldwin and Aaron Arroyo

David Lawrence Center (DLC) works with partners to enhance Collier County’s health, wellness and safety. By supplementing state funding with private donations, we can save and positively impact more lives.

Through funding from Arthrex, Naples United Church of Christ and the state, DLC’s expanded care coordination and innovative, integrated treatment approach helps those who are uninsured, high need and recidivist.

Aaron Arroyo, a 25-year-old with depression, anxiety and addiction, tried many treatment centers and had been in jail. This had minimal effect. Today, though increased support, he is sober, has a job and is committed to helping others.
