The approach of graduation season serves as a reminder to parents and families of high school-age children. It’s time to scout scholarship opportunities, and there is a new option for SWFL’s young women.
The Distinguished Young Women of Southwest Florida At-Large is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.
Participation costs nothing for high school juniors in Collier, Charlotte and Lee counties and guarantees inclusion in competitions for local scholarships. Participants also attend workshops, make friends and have a chance to advance and compete for national scholarship awards.
