New locations added to Great American Cleanup®

Hundreds of volunteers will soon be heading to Collier County’s beaches and parks to volunteer for the Great American Cleanup®.

Cleanup locations include local favorites like Tiger Tail Beach, Lowdermilk Park, Seagate Beach and the Barefoot Beach Preserve. Private groups are also taking on litter-prone areas further inland.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 and will run from 8-11 a.m. Volunteers are asked to pre-register online so organizers have enough supplies at the designated locations, where site captains will assist you. The event is perfect for both the young and young-at-heart who want to protect our environment.
