With many restaurants and businesses still operating on limited hours, your traditional Father’s Day celebration might not be possible. However, there are many ways to celebrate the special dad in your life.
• Skip the usual cards and share your genuine appreciation with an old-fashioned thank-you note.
• Plan a hearty brunch at home with grilled pizza (one of my favorites), or something a little more seasonal like this tomato, peach and basil salad.
• Breaking out a card game can extend the fun. Some of our favorites are fast, easy to learn, and appropriate for all ages like Uno, Dare or Canasta.
