Mom, wife, artist, anchor

Some of you will recognize me as the morning anchor for NBC2.  I am also a mother of four, ages 9 to newborn, and a modern coastal artist. I am constantly inspired by the beauty that surrounds us here in Southwest Florida.

This piece focuses on one of my favorite local birds, the roseate spoonbill. I love painting them on these modern flowing backdrops. They, along with the other rare birds, manatees, sea turtles and unique shells from local beaches, remind me daily that we live in paradise. I have no shortage of inspiration. At times, it even seems overwhelming.
