Trusted adults in the lives of children and teens are most likely to notice when an individual’s behavior changes, but they usually don’t know what those changes mean or how to help.
DLC is offering Youth Mental Health First Aid training to recognize the signs and symptoms, and know how to respond to children experiencing a mental health crisis. The program introduces participants to risk factors and their impact, overviews common treatments and teaches how to safely de-escalate a crisis.
