Emerging visual, literary and performing artists ages 15-18 are invited to apply for the National YoungArts Foundation competition starting on June 4.
Award winners have the opportunity to take master classes with nationally recognized artists, receive a lifetime of mentoring and win cash awards of up to $10,000 to continue their education.
The foundation was launched in 1981 by Lin and Ted Arison, with the goal of identifying emerging artists and assisting with professional development.
Headquartered in Miami, the YoungArts program boasts 20,000 alumni who have become industry leaders as actors, choreographers, opera singers and Broadway stars.
