Naples Winter Wine Festival’s impact is more than dollar signs

In just seconds, $3 million was raised for children’s mental health during Fund a Need at the 2019 Naples Winter Wine Festival. The weekend auction raised $15.8 million for Collier children.

The impact those dollars have on at-risk children was demonstrated during the festival’s opening event, when David Lawrence Center introduced Brianna. She bravely talked about being haunted by suicidal thoughts at age 7. Most importantly, she talked about how she overcame depression and anxiety – by self-medicating through meditation, exercise, hard work and therapy.

Brianna’s recovery showcases the impact of Naples Children & Education Foundation’s Beautiful Minds initiative.
