FOX’s newest singing competition show AlterEgo has a Southwest Florida connection. Naples native Chase Padgett is one of 20 vocalists who will perform for celebrity judges — not as themselves — but as wildly imaginative 3D avatars via motion capture technology.
Now living in Vancouver, Chase is an experienced singer and musician and has spent the last decade touring with original one-man shows. AlterEgo starts tonight at 9 pm with a two-night premiere, 9/22, and 9/23. Chase tells us he will make his debut on next Wednesday’s episode on 9/29. We’ll be watching to see if he takes home the $100k prize.
