Helping voters with disabilities exercise their right to vote

by The 100 Companies

July 26 commemorates the signing of the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Supervisor of Elections strives to ensure all voters have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, including voters who have disabilities.

ExpressVote is a ballot-marking device available to all voters but is especially set up to allow voters with disabilities to have the independence to cast their ballot in person. This device offers visual aids, including high contrast and zoom functionality, multilingual language in audio and text, and provides ports for accessibility devices.
