Through the years, Kara and David have hosted more than 50 local foster children. While they always hope their children can reunite with their families, that isn’t always possible.
Kara and David have opened their hearts and homes to adopt children whose parents couldn’t come back into their lives. With eight children in their home, ranging from eight months to 16 years old, the family has outgrown its van. During the COVID-19 crisis, Kara must make two trips to take her children for school lunches.
A GoFundMe page has been organized to help Kara and David purchase a 10-passenger van.
