If you have been to the grocery store lately, you know that some items are in short supply. Unfortunately, some businesses have taken advantage of our community’s need for milk, eggs, protective masks, and disinfectant supplies by inflating prices.
Price gouging has been reported throughout Southwest Florida, but there are options to help stop it. If you see price gouging, document the violation as thoroughly as possible by taking a photo or keeping invoices and receipts.
