The Marco Island Center for the Arts recently announced an expansion of its mission with the a launch of the Arts Center Theatre (ACT). The center will make its home in the Marco Town Center, previously occupied by The Marco Players.
The Marco Island Center for the Arts hopes to enhance the performing arts experiences for the local and greater Collier County communities. Hyla Crane, the Center’s executive director, has been working to build partnerships and collaborate with regional theaters on future productions.
In addition to enjoying shows, Crane hopes to enhance performing arts education through internships and work-study opportunities.
