Multi-use trails provide numerous benefits for communities, just like Collier County. With a recent award from the state, the Paradise Coast Trail is one step closer to reality.
In 2020, Naples Pathways Coalition was granted a local funding request in the state’s budget to complete a Feasibility Study for the Paradise Coast Trail. The $250,000 award came with a requirement for a $100,000 local match.
In February, the organization expects to select an engineering firm to complete the one-year study that will guide future construction plans. With local fundraising efforts and state funding, NPC’s advocacy efforts have fast-tracked this project.
