‘The Urgency of Now’ to premiere Sept. 28

“The Urgency of Now” is an award-winning film focusing on Hurricane Ian and the impact of climate change in Southwest Florida.

Following the viewing, a panel of experts will discuss local initiatives to improve sustainability and resiliency, including Naples City Manager Jay Boodheshwar; Nick Kouloheras, member of the Urban Land Institute and former president of Habitat for Humanity in Collier County; Chad Washburn, vice president of conservation at Naples Botanical Garden; and Michael Saverese, Ph. D., professor at the Water School at FGCU.

The moderator is Ana Puszkin-Chevlin, Ph.D., the regional director of Growing Climate Solutions.
