WM of Charlotte County’s fleet of 80 trucks provides waste collection for 18,000 homes and 700 businesses daily, which can leave the trucks a little smelly and attract unwanted pests that can damage the trucks’ electronics.
Each day, the trucks are sprayed down with a peppermint spray that reduces odors and deters pests. This keeps our fleet clean, green and reliably on the road.
This solution could be used to deodorize your carts as well. Simply place a few drops of peppermint oil in a spray bottle with water and apply to carts as often as you need it.
