36th annual Freedom Fund Gala

“Fighting does not guarantee you’re going to win, but backing down guarantees you’re going to lose,” said NAACP speaker Pamela Keith.

The 36th annual Freedom Fund Gala, held at Naples Grande, celebrated the 110th anniversary of the NAACP organization.

Keith captivated all attendees of the gala, including Collier County school board members, members of the NAACP and first-time guests of the gala with reminders that “We do not have to ask for a seat at the table. We own that seat.”

Mayor Bill Barnett auctioned event packages, including a Breakfast with the Mayor benefitting the Boys and Girls Club.
