Chaos can be messy, disorienting and – well, chaotic. But it can also be lively, fun and evocative of joy and youthful memories.
Southwest Florida artist Mally Khorasantchi creates large-scale works without the horizon lines or perspective points typically found in landscape and still-life art.
The lack of grounded foci for the eye to train on creates a free-flowing visual treat that says “look here, and here, and there and everywhere” until the entire piece is taken in.
Come see for yourself, as Khorasantchi’s most recent paintings are on display at FGCU’s ArtLab Gallery, now through March 28.
