Invest a dollar, get $2.50 in value back. That’s what happens with the EASE grant, an access voucher for students who choose to attend a Florida-based, independent, nonprofit university like Hodges.
Yet the House wants to cut this $2,841 grant, again. EASE’s economic impact is $3.5 billion, plus $282 million in state/local taxes. EASE is for Florida residents pursuing a first bachelor’s degree, like in nursing, business and mental health counseling.
On average, students are 33, work full time and identify as a minority. Let your representatives know EASE is good for students and our state by going to Hodges.edu.
