DLC Mind Your Mind campaign brings awareness to mental health impacts of community safety

In 2021, Collier deputies responded to 6,215 calls for services that were mental health related – an increase from 2020. These are situations that can escalate to community safety risks if not addressed.

Strong community health requires residents to look beyond themselves and take collective responsibility because mental health impacts us all. This month, visit DLCMindYourMind.org to access resources and tips for community safety, as well as opportunities to address the mental wellness within Collier County.

From first responder mental health education and free Narcan, to diversion programs and community safety partnerships, learn how to be mindful our of community safety.
