City of Naples announces Chief Phillip Pennington

Chief Pennington has worked in the fire-rescue profession for 35 years, serving the City of Naples since September 2015. Prior to his arrival in Naples, he served 21 years with the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department as well as six years with Broward County Emergency Medical Services.

City Manager Jay Boodheshwar, said “I am extremely pleased to appoint Mr. Pennington to the position of Fire-Rescue Chief. He has served the City of Naples with honor and dedication. His experience in Naples, coupled with his experiences in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County have prepared him well to lead our Fire-Rescue Department.”
