Recently, one of my friends at PBS Contractors recommended that I read “Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen,” by Donald Miller.
Extraordinary storytelling leads readers through emotional highs and lows, not to tell them what to think but to create emotional connections along an epic journey.
I enjoyed how Miller connected the storytelling process to brand building, giving the reader exercises to apply the lessons along the way. I recommend this book to entrepreneurs still formulating their brand. I also recommend it to my peers as a wonderful refresher and new perspective on the process.
