B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe) is offering a defensive driving program for teens on Saturday, Feb. 3 and Sunday, Feb. 4. The program was developed by former drag racing champion Doug Herbert after tragically losing his two sons in a car crash in 2008. Since its inception, more than 130,000 teens and parents have enrolled across the country.
One man’s personal tragedy has turned into a lifesaving mission to make the road safer. Teens that complete B.R.A.K.E.S. are 64% less likely to get into an auto accident in the three years following their participation.
