Boating ownership soared during the pandemic, so many of you will need to assess the damage to your boat after Hurricane Ian.

It is important to take photos and videos of damage for insurance purposes. If your vessel is still docked, bring extra lines to replace any that may have been damaged or lost.

Additionally, you’ll want to get cleanup started right away by removing as much salt, mud, and moisture as you can. Check the water level in the bilge for potential damage, and look over the engine and fuel systems for damage.
