April 15: Collier Building Industry Foundation scholarship applications due

CBIF’s scholarship fund addresses the pressing need for a better educated and trained construction industry workforce, especially that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates construction-related occupations will gain approximately 400,000 new jobs by 2030.

Do you know a local graduating high school student or a student currently pursuing studies in construction and/or related fields, including architecture, engineering, interior design, surveying or specialty contracting such as air conditioning, electrical, masonry or plumbing?

Well, good news for them: The Collier Building Industry Foundation (CBIF) is currently accepting 2022 scholarship applications. To date, the CBIF has awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to Collier County students in construction-related industries.
