time capsule

The Marco Island Center for the Arts asks for residents and visitors to share their stories, artistic images and paintings, memories and memorabilia of SWFL in a time capsule that will be opened in 2070.

The time capsule was originally launched to celebrate the center’s 50th anniversary. However, during this time, it is the perfect opportunity to share how artists are capturing the pandemic in real time.

Works of art and personal stories can be shared virtually through this link. Messages will be added to the museum’s digital collection and included with the time capsule to document the impact of COVID-19.
