Reduce your risk and ‘Vote-by-Mail’

With uncertainty surrounding how the COVID-19 pandemic will affect the voting process for the remainder of the 2020 election cycle, the supervisor of elections is encouraging voters to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot.

We are encouraging voters to request a secure and convenient Vote-by-Mail ballot for the August 2020 primary election. Important dates and deadlines to remember:

• July 4 – Supervisor of elections begins mailing ballots to uniformed and overseas voters.

• July 9 – Supervisor of elections begins mailing ballots to domestic/stateside voters.

• Aug. 8 – Deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot (5:00 p.m.).

• Aug. 8-15 – Early voting period when voters can cast their ballot at a Vote-by-Mail drop box located at each early voting location.

• Aug. 18 – Election Day. All Vote-by-Mail ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of elections by 7:00 p.m.
