How can you possibly thank those who are there for us every day, especially in times of chaos and crisis?
Last Friday, our faculty, staff, students and members of the City of Fort Myers Fire Department, Ladder 16, gathered by our flagpole to remember those who died on Sept. 11, 2001 and honor our first responders who rushed to the scenes to help. We lined up in a formation of unity to visually express our thanks to all who stepped up, helped out and, many times, risked and gave their own lives to save others.
It’s our duty to never forget.
