Are you passionate about protecting our waterways? Make sure you mark your calendar for the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup on Sept. 21.
The initiative began more than 30 years ago, when different communities rallied together with the common goal of collecting and documenting the trash littering their coastlines.
Now, volunteers throughout the United States and more than 100 countries come together each year and participate in a cleanup event near them.
