Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the United States, after stroke and Alzheimer’s Disease. One in 26 Americans will develop epilepsy in their lifetime.

Epilepsy Services of Southwest Florida’s goal is to assist in the process of empowering patients toward self-management. With an appropriate and effective diagnosis and treatment, patients are able to live as close to a normal life as possible.

The organization is celebrating 50 years of helping uninsured patients by providing low or no cost medical, prescription and case management services. These services include access to neurologist consultations, diagnostic testing and assistance accessing medications.
