Oct. 1 marked the official start of spooky season in Southwest Florida. Roadside pumpkin patches are starting to pop up to help you celebrate the season and get your autumn family photos. Make plans to take your family to visit one of these SWFL pumpkin patches:
• Collier County: North Naples Church on Goodlette Road starting Oct. 16, or Heavenly Evergreens on Immokalee Road this week.
• Lee County: Don’t miss the weekend Fall Festivals at Farmer Mike’s in Bonita Springs and Southern Fresh Farms in Fort Myers.
• Port Charlotte: Check out Halloween Notte at the Charlotte County Fair, weekends starting Oct. 16.
