Veteran student offers insights into the impact of education

Our students face challenges outside the classroom. Will Blair, a U.S. Air Force veteran, shares what he’s learned with other veteran students.

In and out of the classroom, his sidekick and service dog, Lucinda, helps minimize the effects of his PTSD. In fact, she wore a matching cap during graduation as they crossed the stage when he earned his bachelor’s degree in June.

Blair continues working toward his master’s degree in management. He tells fellow students the professors are preparing them to change the world, but what they do is change the world of one person, you. Wise words.
