There is a rich history of women administering elections in Collier County. The first “Supervisor of Elections” was Edna Cribb Santa who served until 1981. Supervisor Mary Morgan took office after Santa’s retirement. Jennifer J. Edwards was then appointed in 2000 and she served for 23 years before retiring. In August 2024, Melissa R. Blazier was elected and later sworn in as Collier County’s fourth Supervisor of Elections.
Thank you to the many women who make history every day whether working in our office or at the polls helping voters exercise their right to vote! We cannot conduct elections without you!
– Melissa R. Blazier, Collier County Supervisor of Elections
