Shy Wolf Sanctuary seeks to grow in Collier County

“From the heart and for the animals” has been a core guiding value in Kent and Nancy Smith’s dream of building Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center.

The organization fills a critical void in caring for discarded exotic pets that were bred in captivity and cannot be released. Shy Wolf’s residents include wolf dogs, a panther, foxes and a New Guinea singing dog named Melbourne.

With the goal of growing in Collier County, the organization is bidding on the Randall Curve property on Immokalee Road. The property will allow Shy Wolf to expand its education and outreach efforts in SWFL.
