In 1938, it was known as Armistice Day to honor veterans of WWI. In 1954, the 83rd Congress renamed it Veterans Day to commemorate American veterans of all wars. It’s a day to remember all of our veterans for their service and sacrifice protecting our freedom.
This day is another source of pride at Hodges University with over 13% of our students serving or having served this great country. We also have several veterans on staff who provide invaluable assistance to our veteran students through our Dr. Peter Thomas Veterans Services Center.
Hodges University is proud to serve our veterans!
