Fundraising app makes supporting HBCUs easy

by The 100 Companies

Did you know many Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) lack the resources needed to maintain fully staffed fundraising departments? With federal resources decreasing yearly, Howard University graduate Dominique King knew a change was needed. Thus, I Heart My HBCU was born.

The mobile app, created in 2017, allows users to donate spare change to any of the 104 HBCUs across America. Users simply pick their top five favorite HBCUs, connect to their bank account and all spare change will be collected in the app. Recurring or one-time donations can also be made. Support the cause by downloading the app.
