Tips for providing support, addressing Veterans’ mental health

by The 100 Companies

This November, David Lawrence Centers (DLC) is addressing the challenges that Veterans in our community face after returning from duty – invisible wounds like depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.

DLC is urging the community to come together to raise awareness of the importance of encouraging Veterans to receive the help they need.

Visit DLCMindYourMind.org for resources that help family and friends recognize the signs that a Veteran is experiencing a mental health challenge and how best to respond. To address concerns and provide meaningful support, we must remove judgment, provide hope and explore options that can help.
