Mentors and educational innovators are powerful tools for advancing the workforce in SWFL. These individuals ensure that our business community continues to grow at the same pace as our rapidly growing economy.
For this reason, Florida College Access Network (FCAN) announced its first-ever Workforce Education Innovator Award. This award recognizes outstanding individuals in our community that contribute to the expanding needs of SWFL’s educational programs for workforce education.
The inaugural winners, Dr. Aysegul Timur, Chris Laney and Teri Jones will be honored at a special awards ceremony in Orlando on May 8, as part of the 2019 FCAN Summit.
