Steve Smith joins Gulf Citrus as vice president

Citrus farmers look to the Gulf Citrus Growers Association and its Executive Vice President Steve Smith for support and leadership. These farmers produce the orange juice and citrus fruits that people enjoy every day.

Gulf Citrus is a nonprofit established in 1985 to handle issues related to citrus and agriculture in SWFL. Smith joined to offer leadership to growers and support organizational growth in the market.

Smith is working with Gulf Citrus farmers on issues of land, water use, transportation and trade. Gulf Citrus, as a nonprofit organization, supports the community through charitable contributions, industry scholarships and agriculture education outreach.
