October is National Physical Therapy Month. Each year, millions of Americans benefit from physical therapy (PT), myself included.
PT is designed to help you recover from an injury or surgery, manage the effects of a chronic illness, reduce/eliminate pain, improve strength/flexibility and more. Treatment can include resistance bands, traction, heat or cold therapy (my favorite) or electrical stimulation.
At Hodges, we have a Physical Therapist Assistant program led by three of this area’s best professionals. Learn from them and graduate in two years. The demand for PTAs is high, and the average salary is nearly $65,000. Classes start in January.
