Are you looking to get your family on the water more this summer? Why not take the opportunity to learn boating safety together?

On June 15, the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering an in-depth, full-day course to give students of all ages the knowledge to stay safe and get licensed. The fee is $55 per person, but there are family and student discounts available.

Beyond the basics, the course will offer an overview of boating law, safety equipment, navigation and trailering/towing tips. Additionally, instructors cover how to address hazards like hypothermia, running aground and capsizing.
