Closing out October in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

by The 100 Companies

Year after year, our team at the Clerk’s Office has partnered with The Shelter for Abused Women & Children to raise awareness about domestic violence and human trafficking during October.

This year, we displayed The Shelter’s DVAM Clothesline Project in several departments to maximize its visual impact for the month. The project features t-shirts designed by Shelter participants, offering a platform for them to bravely share their experiences and break the silence that often envelops them.

Each year, our staff places collection bins around the Courthouse to collect donations of essential items for women and children currently staying at The Shelter.
