Working women are more ambitious than ever

She works hard for the money. A new study finds women are more ambitious than before the pandemic and it is due in part to flexibility, a key ingredient to their companies’ overall success. Other key findings show women of color are even more ambitious than women overall: 96% say their career is important and 88% want a promotion.

The bad news: Women are still making less than men, earning about 82 cents for every dollar a man makes. Mothers ages 25-34 earned less than fathers in the same age range. Women without children earned 97% as much as fathers.
