Bell Tower Shops will host a “Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour” on Oct. 11 from 6-8 p.m. The event will feature pet costume contests.
Participants may compete in the costume contest for a $5 minimum donation to the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Dog owners will have a chance to win a special prize package.
Celebrity judges of the contest will be Lee County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Richard Castellon and Jennifer Galloway, Gulf Coast Humane Society’s executive director.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will be registering pets and their owners during “Yappy Hour,” and Chance, a deputized dog, will also be in attendance.
