Thinking about traveling abroad this summer? Get your passport ASAP

by The 100 Companies

With the pandemic in our rearview mirror, many of us are planning to travel abroad this summer.

If this speaks to you, the State Department has some advice: apply or renew now. Wait times are long at 8-11 weeks for routine service and 5-7 weeks for expedited service.

According to a Tweet from the department, the online option has been paused. Just like the price of gas and eggs, passport fees have gone up and as of January, a first-time passport costs $165.

For busy professionals, Collier County Clerk’s Office is hosting “Passport Saturday” to help you get your application in.
