Future entrepreneurs serve up spice and support

As an agriculture center, Immokalee has an abundance of fresh produce and motivated students that have created a successful social enterprise that is changing their lives and their community.

Taste of Immokalee was cooked up as a student-run initiative that teaches students how to become the next generation of entrepreneurs. Working with professionals to create great-tasting products, students learn business skills like product testing, manufacturing, marketing and accounting.

Profits from Taste of Immokalee are used to fight poverty in Immokalee. When purchasing a gift basket of freshly made salsas and sauces, you’re making a difference in the community.
